Yes. Akamai acquired Linode in 2022 and rebranded the platform as Akamai Cloud. The product is now sometimes referred to as Akamai Cloud Object Storage, but the API, endpoints, and pricing model are the same Linode Object Storage you may already know.
An access key and secret generated in the Linode Cloud Manager, plus the regional endpoint URL for your bucket. Mover uses the credentials exactly like S3 access keys.
Mover charges as low as $0.15/GB when purchasing a 10 TB pack. Linode charges nothing for inbound. For a 10 TB migration, expect ~$1,499 in Mover fees and nothing on the Linode side until the data starts billing for storage at around $5/TB/month.
It depends on Linode's transfer allowance on your account. Within the allowance, egress is free; beyond the cap, Linode bills additional outbound transfer at its published rate. Check your account's current transfer allowance before running a large migration out.
