Box to Google Drive,
without the per-user toolchain.
The Workspace standardization move out of Box. Teams adopting Google Workspace shift their Box content into Drive so files live where the rest of the work already does.
Mover connects Box and Google Drive directly. No exports, no zips, no per-user reupload. Authorize both sides, pick the data, see the price before any bytes move.

Why teams move from Box to Google Drive.
Box-to-Drive migrations are almost always part of a Workspace standardization — one identity, one billing line, one place files live.
Standardizing on Google Workspace
Teams running Workspace for mail, calendar, and Docs find Box increasingly redundant. The cost of running two file platforms — per-seat Box plus the Drive storage that comes with Workspace — is the part that ends the renewal conversation.
Tighter Docs and Sheets integration
Files in Drive open natively in Docs, Sheets, and Slides; co-authoring is one click. Pulling Box content into Drive closes the gap between "where files live" and "where the team works".
Reducing platform sprawl
Two storage platforms means two governance regimes, two sets of permissions, two places to look. Consolidating on Drive simplifies access reviews, retention, and security tooling.
Cost rationalization at scale
Box per-user pricing adds up. For organizations already paying for Workspace, the Drive storage is bundled — making the migration the lever that ends the duplicate Box line.
4 steps to Go.
From credential to first byte in a handful of clicks. The dry-run is free, every time, and shows the exact cost before you commit a byte.
Connect Box.
Sign in to Box through Mover and authorize the connection. Mover supports Box Business, Enterprise, and consumer accounts; for tenant migrations, an admin token lets Mover see all users.
Connect Google Drive.
Sign in to Google through Mover and authorize the destination. For Workspace-wide migrations, domain-wide delegation lets Mover land content in each user's Drive.
Run a free dry run.
Mover walks the Box source, counts files, sums bytes, and produces an exact-cost estimate. The dry run is free, every time.
Launch the migration.
Live progress, automatic retries on transient failures, structured audit log of every file moved.
The pricing math, honestly.
Box and Google Drive are both zero-egress and zero-ingress for migration traffic. The only cost is Mover — as low as $0.15/GB on a 10 TB pack.

The dry run is what to trust — it runs against your actual data and reflects the pack size you need.
Frequently asked.
Most teams launch their first migration in under 15 minutes. The dry run is free, every time.
Run a free dry run. Connect Box and Google Drive, and Mover walks the source, counts every file, sums the bytes, and returns the exact file count and price before you commit. Buy the matching usage pack, launch, and Mover handles the transfer — re-running later moves only what changed or failed.
Yes. With an admin token on the Box side and domain-wide delegation on the Workspace side, Mover can map every Box user to their corresponding Drive user and run the migration end to end.
Mover migrates file content. Sharing models differ between Box and Google Drive — permissions and external-collaborator settings don't transfer 1:1 and have to be re-established on the Drive side after the data lands.
Box Notes export as text or PDF when transferred to Drive, depending on what Box's export endpoint provides at the time of migration. Box Canvas and other Box-native objects don't have a direct equivalent in Drive. The dry run is a good moment to scan for the small subset of files that need a human pass.
Folder hierarchy is preserved. Modification timestamps are preserved where supported. Ownership in Drive is set by the connected migration user; you can re-map ownership after the migration through Drive admin or Mover's per-user mapping.
It depends on the size and on Box and Drive API rate limits, which Mover respects automatically. The dry run gives you a size-based estimate; multi-TB migrations typically complete inside a single business day.
